Expansion
Exciting times ahead! Building work has started over at the Maggie Mays Resort. The three ground floor rooms closest to the pool are now being converted into a spacious Gents Club to accompany the remaining 25 rooms that we will soon start to advertise on the bookings websites. Work on the gents club is expected to be complete in around 2 months time.
All inclusive holiday packages will be offered with unlimited local beers, local spirits and soft drinks as well as food and a room. VIP Airport transfers are also an option and don't forget the free rides into town to meet the bar crawls are available every day.
In other news...
We're adding yet another Gents Club to our group! Our third GC collaboration with a YouTuber. Aussie in Thailand will open Palmy's Bar and Gents Club on Soi Boonkanchana, Jomtien in early February. It was formerly known as Medusa Bar.
Over on the Darkside...
Work continues to make Maggie Mays Darkside the ultimate daytime bar.
The first relaxation room at the end of the garden has been completed (with air con) and we have also added an outdoor pool bar to improve customer service in the garden. Watch the video below for the latest updates. We plan to build an additional 2 relaxation rooms with one of them having a 4 person jacuzzi.
Back in central Pattaya... Buzzin Lounge has also been on the receiving end of some TLC with some new paintwork and snazzy LED lighting. Video below.
And as for the longest renovation in history... It's been a while since we did an update on our Suki restaurant and live music project. We're still going ahead with it, it just got delayed in favour of opening more bars. We've switched it to a new electric supply to keep the bills down and are ready to open sometime this month.
Bar Updates
The Badger on Soi Khao Talo had the Grand Opening on January 10th and we now have a steady 10 girls and plan to get more.
Free Willy (formerly 3 Ways) has completed the rebrand. Nothing much has changed, just the logo. We still have our Mexican Buffet every Tuesday from 4pm until 6pm as well as all the other usual naughtiness you remember. Set Your Willy Free!
And on the topic of buffets...
We also have another new buffet being served up at The Badger on Soi Khao Talo every Wednesday from 4pm to 7pm.
This is not to be missed. All you can eat nostalgic food we all remember and love from our childhood. Richmond Sausages, Birdseye Fish Fingers, Heinz Spaghetti Hoops, McCains Steak Fries, Warburtons Bread with Lurpak Butter and all the right condiments to go with it. Sarsons Malt Vinegar, Heinz Ketchup, HP Sauce, Worcestershire Sauce and of course the humble salt and pepper. Free on bills over 699 baht or otherwise just a very reasonable 199 baht.
Not to be left out we've also been working on a Maggie Mays Darkside food special... We now have Sunday covered with a high quality roast dinner. Enjoy a plated Sunday Roast Dinner by the pool (or inside) at Maggie Mays Darkside. Free on bins over 799 baht otherwise just 299 baht. It's a great roast too with all the beef and lamb supplied to us by Smokey Mountain Foods.
For all those who love a pint of Guinness... Have you joined the Guinness Club yet? If you're a Guinness drinker you need to get in on this. 3000 baht gets you in with a lifetime membership plus a Guinness Card worth 10 pints of Guinness, your own custom over-sized 640ml glass which we upgrade from time to time and let you keep the old one at home.
Once you're in we use your personalised glass every time you order a Guinness so you always benefit from an extra 72ml of Guinness compared to a normal glass. The gift that keeps on giving. Available at all Maggie Mays venues.
As an update on what drafts we're serving in all our bars (because we keep changing them)... Maggie Mays in Jomtien is now serving Heineken Draft alongside Guinness. 89 baht for a 330ml glass or just 130 baht for a pint. It's a great pint.
